White Sands National Park / Alamogordo
Alamogordo is a city located in southern New Mexico, know for its close proximity to the White Sands National Park. White gypsum sand dunes creating a surreal and picturesque landscape. We got to go sledding and filled our clothes and bodies in sand! So much fun, little bumpy in the van! We even went back a second time with our grandson and couldn’t get him to leave! LOL.

Carlsbad Caverens National Park
Carlsbad Caverns National Park is a must do for everyone at sometime in their life. I liked it better then the Grand Canyon, and its all underground! Night of the Bats taking flight is something we’ll never forget. The scenic drive in amazing! The decent into the cave is an experience like no other!

Petrified Forest National Park, AZ
Located in northeastern Arizona, this striking landscape is characterized by its fossilized trees, ancient rock formations, and colorful badlands. The park has one of the largest colorful petrified woods in the world! Fascinating place tucked away way out there but worth a visit.
